Pol 101 is a compulsory politics subject for first semester students. Many of them do not see the point of politics. This simulation tutorial makes politics relevant to them and alerts them to many of the issues by engaging them in a political process that leads to a real decision about redistribution of a resource that I control and they want - marks to pass the subject.
