Program dates
Foundations of Learning and Teaching programs will run continuously in 2008. Each session, however, will be subject to sufficient numbers.

**Information for new sessional staff **
Modules 1 to 3 are a requirement for all new sessional staff at Curtin. In support of this initiative, the Office of Teaching and Learning will reimburse schools for the sessional payments to staff for attendance at the first three Modules.
Recently appointed academic staff are also encouraged to undertake these modules at no cost to the individual or school.

Modules 1, 2, 3: Teaching at university
These modules will give you the 'nuts and bolts' of teaching at university. They are designed as an introduction for those who are new (or relatively new) to teaching at Curtin. There is a limit of 40 participants in each module, with a minimum enrolment of 10. Venues to be confirmed.
* Dates indicated with an asterisk - you may choose to complete consecutive modules on the same day.

Modules 4, 5, 6: Designing for student learning
These modules are for teaching staff who design units. They focus on designing learning outcomes, assessments, feedback and evaluation. All teaching staff are welcome to attend: modules are best completed in order. There is a limit of 40 participants in each module, with a minimum enrolment of 10. Venues to be confirmed.

Modules 7 & 8: Developing your teaching career
These modules are for teaching staff who wish to improve their teaching by engaging in peer review. These modules are best preceded by the completion of Modules 1-3 or 4-6. There is a limit of 40 participants in each module, with a minimum enrolment of 10. Venues to be confirmed.
