Australian Learning and Teaching Council (ALTC) Grants

The ALTC Grants Scheme has been significantly revised for 2011 and changes to the scheme from 2010 are summarised on the ALTC website. The Program Guidelines and supporting information include instructions for completing and submitting your application, managing your project, budget instructions and budget template. Other documents available to assist with completing applications are the checklist, the Field of Education Classification and advice on project evaluation and project dissemination strategies.

Applications should be made via the ALTC's new online Grant Portal.

If you have an idea for an ALTC funded project, the Office of Assessment Teaching and Learning is here to help you shape your ideas, link you with possible collaborators and develop your grant application.  Complete this Expression of Interest form and email it as an attachment to the Office of Assessment Teaching and Learning (l.lilly@curtin.edu.au).

When you apply for a grant you need the support of the University. This is provided by Professor Robyn Quin, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Education. Please make your request for support using this standard form and forward together with a copy of the grant application (draft is sufficient) to the Office of Assessment, Teaching and Learning (l.lilly@curtin.edu.au) and we will arrange for the letter to be written. This can be done as an attachment to an email.

In 2011, the ALTC Grants Scheme incorporates four programs. A summary of the programs is provided below. However you should refer to the full guidelines available on the ALTC website. You might also refer to the annual Grants Scheme reports which provide information on the operations of the Grants Scheme and initiatives funded.
