Curtin Research in Higher Education Committee
The University has established the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Committee as an advisory body to build staff capability in, and foster an institutional culture of, scholarship of teaching and learning.
This representative body will assist in and provide advice on:
- improving the scholarship of teaching and the facilitation of learning
- policies, initiatives, and practices supporting proactive engagement of staff in the scholarship of teaching and learning
- the Journal of Teaching and Learning for Graduate Employability
The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Committee will also support:
- staff to undertake scholarship in teaching and learning and contribute to the development of pedagogy in their discipline
- Faculties to formulate collaborative research projects in the scholarship of teaching and learning
- strategic initiatives in the scholarship of teaching and learning
- inter-faculty consultation on issues relating to scholarship of teaching and learning
