Teaching Performance Index (TPI)
The Teaching Performance Index has been created to recognise and reward the efforts of teaching staff.
Applications can be submitted between 4th July 2011 and 12th August 2011 (5.00pm WST).
Aims of the Teaching Performance Index (TPI)
The Teaching Performance Index aims to:
- Recognise and reward the efforts of teaching staff to improve the quality of instruction, feedback and learning environments and the achievement of excellence in teaching and learning.
- Improve the overall quality of teaching and learning, particularly in undergraduate courses with large enrolments.
- Raise the public and external profile of the University so that Curtin is renowned for effective teaching.
- Foster a culture of scholarship that informs teaching and learning.
- Stimulate and reward efforts that align with the University's key drivers for improvement e.g. professional development, use of the eVALUate teaching evaluation tool.
