In 1997, with the assistance of a grant from the Commonwealth Staff Development Fund, a number of Curtin staff undertook projects aimed at improving teaching and learning of communication skills. This volume reports on the outcomes of these projects. Edited by Alex Radloff.

These guidelines set out the responsibilities and expectations of Curtin's distance education providers as well as the policies and procedures which guide these.
Distance Education
This website (which includes the list of distance education units) is designed to help students function effectively as a distance education students and to answer many of the questions they may have about studying through distance education.
eVALUate
eVALUate is Curtin's online system for gathering and reporting student feedback on teaching and learning. The instrument prompts students to reflect on what helped and hindered them in their achievement of the unit learning outcomes and is only available in the online mode.
Frameworks for Internationalisation
This program aims to meet the diverse needs of staff by offering the choice of a number of different learning modules. Each module represents a different role that is undertaken by Curtin teaching staff or Curtin partner staff.

Teaching Learning Forum
Teaching Learning Forum is a series of annual conferences held in Perth, Western Australia, by the TL Forum partners Curtin, Edith Cowan University, Murdoch University, Notre Dame University, and the University of Western Australia. Abstracts and papers are available for the period 1995-2006.

This project was funded by the Australian Universities Teaching Committee (AUTC) .
