Enhancing student learning
30 November - 1 December 2006

EAC2007 - Queensland University of Technology 29-30 November 2007
Assessment and Evaluation for Real World Learning

Assessing learning can profoundly shape the educational experiences of students. One of the challenges of effective assessment is to ensure that there is a close alignment between the learning goals, the teaching and learning activities aimed at meeting learning goals and the assessment tasks used to assess whether learning goals have been met. Current best practice includes assessment which is aligned to learning goals which focus not only on content knowledge but also on process and 'generic' skills.

Who should attend
The conference attracts academics teaching in the disciplines, staff who provide support for university teaching and learning, evaluation unit managers, policy makers and senior university managers interested in discussing issues of evaluation and assessment in higher education.

The Evaluations and Assessment Conference complements the Evaluation Forum which will be hosted by Curtin University of Technology from 28 - 29 November 2006.

Conference Theme
