1. Curtin Library and Information Service

As a Curtin student you can access the Library and Information Service at either Curtin's Bentley campus or our 'remote site' libraries (such as Muresk and Kalgoorlie). You can access a wide range of library services through the Curtin Library and Information Service website, such as eReserve, scholarly electronic databases (Gecko) and some exam papers. You will need to know your Curtin student number and OASIS password to access electronic library services.

If you do not live in the Perth metropolitan area, the Kalgoorlie/Boulder region or in Northam, you may find the Library's Off Campus Services of great value. These services include loaning of books and audio visual items and supply of photocopied journal articles and book chapters not available electronically.

Curtin students also have access to reciprocal borrowing at other Australian university libraries. Further information can be found here.

2. Counselling and Health Services

A free and confidential counselling service is available to you through the Curtin University Counselling and Health Services. Information on their services and their contact details can be fonud on the Counselling and Health Services website.

3. Disability Services

Should you have special individual needs which result from a disability or medical condition, a Counsellor (Disability) may be able to assist you. Further information on this service can be found on the Disability @ Curtin website.

4. Curtin Student Guild

Curtin Student Guild plays a vital role in the student community by representing and promoting the common interests of all Guild members and all students. The Curtin Student Guild provides many services to members, including Student Assist, legal advice, the Secondhand Bookshop and social events, which you may find useful during your time at Curtin.

5. Curtin University Bookshop

The Curtin University Bookshop offers a variety of products and services. The Bookshop coordinates your booklists and makes these available to you under the MyStudies tab in OASIS a few weeks prior to the start of each study period in which you are enrolled.

6. Student Services

The provision of student services at Curtin is coordinated by the University's central student services administration, Student Central, which is located in Building 101 on the Bentley Campus. The services provided by Student Central are supported by a network of Divisional Student Services Offices located in the Divisions and by other dedicated student services staff within the various Schools and regional campuses. Further details on the services provided by Student Central and your Divisional Student Services ofice can be found on the Current Students website.
