Welcome to Curtin and to Distance Education. This web page is designed to help you function effectively as an external student and to answer your questions about studying through distance education.

Our office have also developed the Going the Distance Booklet that is sent out to all our external students when they enrol. It contains many of the information available on this site.

Curtin's distance education programs are developed and delivered through a partnership between Curtin Schools and Departments and the Office of Teaching and Learning. The Distance and Open Learning office for the University is located administratively within the OTL. In addition to providing support to the University's distance education program, the OTL provides a range of central support in academic staff development and instruction design and media.

Distance and Open Learning is located on the ground floor of the T.L. Robertson Library, Building 105. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm (Western Standard Time).
