The Principles of Assessment that underpin assessment policy at Curtin ensure that assessment practices are subject to quality management processes including pre-assessment and post-assessment moderation.
Curtin's plagiarism policy aims to make actions and decisions more consistent across the University.  The Academic Integrity website contains information for staff and students including updated versions of the Student Guidelines for Avoiding Plagiarism booklet (2010) and Staff Guidelines booklet (2011), and links to the online Plagiarism Reporting System.
Located in building 105 (TL Robertson library building) on the Bentley campus the Assessment Centre provides invigilated computer based assessments and support for other e-Assessment activities.
An optical mark reader (OMR) is able to rapidly read and evaluate specially designed candidate answer sheets. Find out how to use the OMR service and see samples of reports on these pages.
